Detroit’s financial situation is such a mess it might be close to finding itself under state control. This could come with the appointment of an emergency manager to make financial decisions for the city. The manager would have broad powers to cut costs, dismiss workers and void all or parts of contracts.
Do you think it would matter if an emergency manager is appointed? What do you think the effects would be inside the city, or the state? Would it matter at all for the region? Tell us what you think.
