On the Web, we have a list of movies that star the Midwest.
And Michael Nagrant debuts Reinvention Recipes, exclusive videos on restaurants giving a new twist to classic dishes. This week: Chicago’s Smoque BBQ.
TUESDAY: Bobkoff reports on Sandusky, Ohio, kicking off a series called Our Towns.
WEDNESDAY: Davidson looks at Reversal of Fortune, the experience of “two tiers” inside auto plants who make sharply less than their fellow workers — and family members.
THURSDAY: Boodhoo explores the challenges of dismantling and reviving brownfield sites.
FRIDAY: A regional call-in program broadcast on Chicago Public Radio, Michigan Radio and ideastream, looking at “Big Cities, Small Places.” It’s co-hosted by veteran NPR broadcaster Katherine Lanpher and Changing Gears Senior Editor Micki Maynard and will air at 3 pm ET/2 pm CT, with a live chat here at ChangingGears.info.
